Terms of use

This is placeholder text pending legal review.

These terms apply when you use this website, the free tools, or the Saaf app. By using them you agree to what is written here.

What Saaf is

Saaf is a record-keeping tool. It helps your kitchen keep the daily records FSSAI expects, dated and timed.

Saaf keeps records. It does not certify compliance and is not endorsed by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. Any score or readiness level shown in the app or the free tools is self-assessed readiness. Not an FSSAI rating.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you and your staff enter, and for keeping account access within your team.

Tell us promptly if you believe someone outside your business has access to your account.

Trial and payment

New accounts start with a free 7-day trial. After the trial the price is INR 499 per month per venue, and everything is included.

You can stop at any time. Charges already made for a period are not refunded unless required by law.

Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption. Maintenance, network issues or provider outages can affect access.

Limits of responsibility

Decisions about food safety in your kitchen remain yours. Saaf records what your team enters; it does not inspect your kitchen and it does not replace your own judgement or professional advice.

To the extent permitted by Indian law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before a claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
